Concept #1 - Conflict & Change

The first of 8 guiding concepts for the year is "When there is conflict between or within societies, change is the result."

We have the basic understanding that Conflict leads to Change, and Change leads to Conflict.  So there is a cycle we can see throughout history that fits into this concept.
